wäääh gnos hörmer uf mit beryl, compiz und all dä schwurbel.
bemer lauft als wm openbox u i be glücklich. es het so rechtig schöön wenig panels u effekt wo eim störe

lasch na gnome-settings-manager im hingergrund lo laufe u so und alles isch wunderbar

u vo wege terratec x24 lauft nöd

hans zwar nid usprobiert aber da gugg mal:

terratec x24 wird ungerstützt lasch jackd mitem freebob driver laufe

aaleitig für debian fingsch hie (ubuntu sötti jawohl ändlich si):

hald non neue kernel baue wenns unbedingt nötig isch aber laufe wirds

hmm so hab wieder mal weitergebastelt bzgl terratec x24

1. Problem war: Freebob ist nicht unterstützt unter ubuntu edgy... bzw die version von jack hat keinen freebob support..

also habe ich freebob und jack aus svn kompiliert nach folgender Anleitung:

nun funktioniert der freebob-treiber:

das ist schon mal ein gutes zeichen, aber wenn ich jack ausführe, habe ich fehlermeldungen und bisher noch keinen ton aus der karte gekriegt:

lauft guet s gentoo, aber d sach isch eher "bis es mal lauft"

hmm ich suech mal wiiter nach lösige, vielleicht halt au uf anderer distro...obwohl ich mich ungern würd trenne vom ubuntu... vielleicht gids ja in feisty support für freebob. mal abchecken.
