The AudioCubes, a new way to make music :
* Lets you create unique sounds and musical patterns without twiddling knobs !
* Creates a stunning live performance.
* Helps you focus on your creativity and your music.
* Controls your MIDI-compatible instruments or software.
* Displays beautiful colours synchronized to your music.
* Does not need a special table or detection system.
* Does not need any camera's or special lighting.
* Travels with you, wherever you and your creativity go.
My piece of mind: Looks cool but is just a cube with IR sensors on it just like the Roland D-Beam on the MC-808. I like the idea however but I would not pay $800 for a midi controller which can only do that. But its a step in the right direction

Hi
Actually, you get four cubes, and they are something entirely different than a Roland D-Beam.
Each cube is a sound processor/generator/midi controller and can communicate with other cubes, generate midi controllers from distance (to hand or cube), recognize other cubes, their orientation and position, generate midi triggers, ....
lots of possibilities !
