Alchemy Records have hunted far and wide for new talent over Summer and are proud to announce the signing of Freakulizer to Alchemy Records. Freakulizer aka DJ Thujon is Switzerland's leading psytrance producer and The Awakening Process is his extraordinary debut album - a superb collection of uplifting and psychedelic morning music. Engineered towards those first sunrise moments the album flows with emotive melody and crystal clear production.

Simon Schwendener is Freakulizer. At the young age of 15 Years Simon started to spin Psytrance on vinyl in 1996. After 5 Years of DJing, he decided to produce his own music. He got some helping hands along the way from Artists like Sesto Sento , Eskimo, Silent Sphere, Cyber Cartel, Vibe Tribe and a few others. After 3 Years of producing tracks he has released numerous tracks on labels such Com.pact , Headroom, Psytropic, Woodroom ,Zoom ,and now releases his debut on Alchemy Records.
From the opening track Visualisation to the bombastic remix of Psysex's Sodapop, The Awakening Process lifts you up out of the darkness into those smiling morning sunrise moments.
Driving percussion, uplifting melodies and deep, powerful and crystal production makes this album shine.
The Freakulizer vibe has ignited dance floors across the globe, with its intense, powerful and innovative style and his debut album The Awakening Process is just the beginning of a magical journey.
