U-Reckon vs Mind Complex - No-One Can Stop Us
Opening with an epic intro and busting into a funky psy-trance breakbeat, this collaboration of Mind Complex and U-Recken is a full-on progressive morning rocker. Expect major contortions of the bassline accompanied by gossamer ethereal pads, and a great tension release breakdown before a major sound climax towards the end.
Atomic Pulse - Robotnico (Atomiculture Remix)
Veteran Atomic Pulse offers up a trance piece with a much different flavor than the last. A tech-funky piece more cybernetic and cartoony in feel, this track is chock full of depth and layering, with multi-tiered bass and heavy lead and rhythm saturations engineered to amp up your happy feelings and zap your feet into motion.
Hyperception - Shaking (Mr. Peculiar & Auricle)
Australia's Mr. Peculiar and Auricle make up the duo Hyperception, and if this peaking morning trance beacon is any measure, their talents meld together wonderfully! "Shaking" is a balance of energies, with thick, aggressive bass and percussion alongside delicate melodic atmospheres. "Shaking" brings out the best of the artists' masculine and feminine influences.
U-Reckon - Whale Song
Stemming from Israel, artist U-Recken's contribution features the best of his homeland's sound, a relentless, assertive piece nesting between outdoors and clubland. The bass is meaty and stomp-inducing, while the melodies seem imported from deep space. Ever-changing, "Whale Song" stays fresh until the end, guaranteed to grant you your second wind.
Hujaboy - Defractal (Zion Remix)
This track delivers... Hujaboy's talent for drawing just the right emount from the darkness stand out here. Brom the bassline to the breakdown, this "Defractal" remix is edgy and subtly acid-etched. Abstract arpeggios and heavily filtered noises, each with their own unique individuality, are the soundtrack for your inner interstellar voyage.
Bliss - Around The
From ancient musical woodwind techniques to twenty-first century sonic manipulation techniques, Artist Bliss's influences span the timeline. The sultry atmospheric intro gets you into the right mindset for an epic odyssey headed straight for the heavenly sunrise. Don't get too comfortable, though; the "Little End" offers an unanticipated good surprise.
Ranji - Chemecly
Ranji's track stands out from its neighbors, in that it's dark, sinister, and very, very high on the psychedelic tip. The bassline triplets and audio sample alliterations arrest your neural attention and force your feet to pay close attention. Caustic rhythms and leads cause amphoteric reactions in your noggin. A masterful amalgamation of sound collusions.
Zion vs Zion Linguist - Babel
"Babel" from the very beginning is a glactic hitchhiker through the audioverse! Following in the footsteps of its forerunner, "Babel" is a vehicle through the dancers' subconscious, its eccentric soundwaves taking you to your inner horizons and leaving you somehow changed. Unpredictable and full of suspense, "Babel" keeps you guessing... and dancing... on your toes.
Orpheus - No Others
This closeout to this amazing, diverse compilation is truly on its own level and compeltely distinct from its neighbors. At best this one a fusion of full-on peak hour psytrance and ethereal morning sounds spiced up with unorthodox vocal samples that unexpectedly do seem to work, and work very well! A high-voltage energy builder, "No Others" is a gsuperb sound-spewing thumper.
